Dave Anderson - known more to the public as “Famous Dave” of Famous Dave’s Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que - approached us to create original menus for a new restaurant idea, Kokomo’s Island Cafe, which is now located in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.

With help from illustrator/animator Kelly McNutt, we created this unique menu focusing on the pure fun of being in a tropical island cafe. All of the art is original (I have the insanely huge photoshop files to prove it…gah).

Sadly, the menu is no longer being used as the food items changed too often…the cost of reprinting was anything but inexpensive.

Overall, it’s one of my favorite pieces.
